Katrina Filewood is a proud Wiradjuri and Yorta Yorta woman and the founder of Yindyamarra Services, a 100% Aboriginal-owned consultancy based on Dharug Country in Western Sydney. With over two decades of experience spanning both corporate and community sectors, Katrina is a trusted cultural advisor, counsellor, and advocate for truth-telling, trauma-informed practice, and respectful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Through Yindyamarra Services, Katrina partners with organisations across Australia to embed culturally safe and responsive practices that drive real, lasting change. Her work is grounded in lived experience, deep cultural knowledge, and a passion for bridging the gap between Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal systems in a way that is authentic, ethical, and practical.
