Ask yourself who is invited to certain meetings and who is not? Have they helped prepare materials for what’s being discussed? Do they have a stake in the outcome of the meeting? So why aren’t they included?

#### _“A C-player is so far back they’re walking.”_

[Shannon Byrne Susko](https://thegrowthfaculty.com/articles/building-a-player-teams-with-shannon-byrne-susko) defines “A-players” this way:

·        They exceed performance expectations

·        They fit within your compensation range for the role

And while A-Players are running out in front of you and B-players are running a bit behind you, a C-player is so far back they're walking, says Shannon.
